Unconditional Love

I read that it is better to love than be loved. I thought about it for a minute and at first I did not agree, but as I sat and ran this statement through my mind and soul it was absolutely a true statement. Love lives within us and when we love it radiates to all.

Having that love within you will shine through. When you already have the love shining there is no reason to WANT to be loved because when you give love you are already loved back. I know it sounds crazy but when the love is inside you have what you need.

Growing up I was always searching for love because I don’t feel I ever had it. But the truth is, it was there trying to illuminate my soul. I found that loving myself made me a loving person. I always put everyone first. I never expected anything in return. I loved and it spark a light in my soul that made me happy when someone felt that love.

When I had my first child my love become unconditional and has remain unconditional for many years now. I instilled in my children that love and as I watched them grow and become adults the love is there. They illuminate that love and carry it on. My heart glows even brighter today having grandchildren that illuminate that love. So stop wanting to be loved and just LOVE, it’s the best feeling you will ever have.
