As the tears fell from your eyes you kept apologizing for being weak. That really hit me hard. Why is it that we teach our boys not to cry? Why when a man cries does it make him WEAK? Crying is a natural release of emotions and it’s ok to cry. We should teach our sons that crying is human nature instead of teaching them it makes them weak. We should let them know that they should release the tears and let them flow. Don’t apologize for crying, instead tell them to say, “I NEEDED THAT CRY”!
I’ve seen my husband at his strongest and at his weakest. When he cries, I cry. He’s never really cried before, not in front of me or kids. I’m saddened by that. I wish he could of cried with our children and taught them that it was ok to do so. I wish he could of showed him that crying as a man shows strength and they are human too. He is struggling to live and just cope with all this and if he cries, then he cries. Let it go and cry on, I will never see you as weak. You are stronger than all of us. You are a true WARRIOR, wish you could see through my eyes how strong you are. Hold your head up and let the tears flow.
