Death

It’s a very heart wrenching five letter word. DEATH is never easy for anyone especially if it’s your loved one. The death of a child or a young person is especially difficult to deal with, it makes you questions everything God has in store for all of us.

I have been witness to a lot of deaths in my life, the ones that really hit deep are the young people taken too soon. I will never understand why God would put you on this Earth, give you a life and then end it when you are young. My niece passed away a few days ago, she was young, she had four young children. This is something I will never understand.

As I read the Bible looking for answers to WHY, there is no true reason. Nothing about her death or any young persons death makes any sense. I know it’s said that life isn’t guaranteed and to live your life to the fullest, but what is the fullest? Did she live her life to the fullest and it was time to go? How could of it been when she had four children that need her, her mother’s heart was ripped out. I can’t even imagine how her life was over when it was just beginning.

Death is a part of life but as I sit here thinking about all the people I have lost in my life, I want to question the reason for some of them. Why do some people live until late in their years and others taken so early on? Why did God create this unknowing to our lives? Why does one person live healthy their whole life and another gets a devastating disease? How does HE pick and choose which ones? Why would He even want us to feel such pain after the death of a loved one? We will never know the answers to any of these.

If you could know how your life was going to play out, would you want to still live it? I think if you knew exactly when and why you would die, you would find it hard love life. So while we are here, no matter how long it may be, live your life as if there’s no tomorrow. You only have one life to live, so live your life to the fullest no matter what path you were given. This is your life here and now, love it while you can.
